Dr. Anita Kianimanesh, known to her patients as Dr. Kiani, is the owner and founding dentist of Purple Plum Dentistry & Aesthetics in Falls Church, Virginia. She has practiced dentistry since 2007 and provides comprehensive and cosmetic dental care focused on each patient's individual needs, goals, and long-term oral health.
EDUCATION & tRAINING
Dr. Kianimanesh earned her B.S. in Biology from George Mason University and later completed a master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with a focus on Biotechnology at Georgetown University.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2007, graduating with honors in prosthodontics and endodontics. She has continued her professional education through advanced training in comprehensive dentistry, including continuing education through Spear Education and other professional programs.
Dr. Kianimanesh is licensed by the Virginia Board of Dentistry.

Today, she has been working in the oral healthcare field for over 17 years and is a proud member of the following dental organizations:

- Dr. Kiani is passionate about virtually every area of dentistry! She does have a particular affinity for cosmetic care and is always striving to elevate her excellence in this field through advanced training and continuing education. She enjoys spending time with every individual to figure out the "why" behind what is happening and how we can treat it to create harmony and balance in a beautiful way.
- Being part of the community is very important to Dr. Kiani. She volunteers her time at different events such as Mission of Mercy, a free dental care event in Northern Virginia. She also provided dental care at Goodwin House, a retirement community for 7 years. In 2022, Dr. Kiani and her team travelled to country of Peru to provide dental care to small village community in the mountains with very limited access to care.
PERSONAL LIFE
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kianimanesh enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, Amir, and their daughters. She also enjoys painting, calligraphy, photography, playing the piano, and listening to music.
